Biography

A veteran of Oxford sport, having competed in six Varsity matches in football and athletics. Browny's favourite pastime is mocking people who are slower than him, which is most people.

Tom made his Centaurs debut in 2003, scoring 9 goals in 9 competitive starts, including a hat-trick in the final BUSA game and two in the Varsity match. Injuries in 2004/5, and being reassigned to a holding midfield role in 2005/6 restricted his BUSA goal output to a single penalty. He was struck down by glandular fever in 2006/7 but scored two goals on his return to the team and edged into the Varsity squad, coming off the bench to earn his blue.

Tom unofficially retired from his role as unofficial team sprint coach and photographer at the beginning of the 2007-8 season; a decision that was confirmed to be a good one when he realised that there's always someone with a bigger lens after being photographed photographing the crowd when OUAFC opened Slavia Prague's new stadium in May 2008. He now spends his time scoring goals for Mansfield Rd, making players slightly slower than those he faced in his Blues days, players look even more like they're running in quick-sand.
